Welcome to Namaste Yoga

Yoga originated from India, yoga is the homeland of India, and India has its pride of giving knowledge of yoga to the whole world. Great yogis such as Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Swami Vivekananda, Swami Sivananda, Swami Vishnudevenanda, Satyananda Saraswati, Swami Niranjanada, swami Kuvalayannda , Swami Sudhananda Bharathi , B.K.S Iyengar, Pattabhi Jois, Dr. Nagendra, Dr. Nagarathna, Baba Ram Dev, are the great modern yogis who had spread the yoga in west ,east, north, south and all the corners of the world. Their contributions made India to be recognized as the homeland for learning yoga.

Yoga means union, union of mind, body, emotions, and intellect for the development of higher dimensions in human life. Yoga is a process of uplifting human nature to a supernatural state of life. Pathanjali sage, Swami Swatma Rama, Swami Machyendera gave greater knowledge of discipline the mind, body to achieve the divinity.

In Sanskrit, the word is namah + te = namaste which means “I bow to you” - my greetings, salutations or prostration to you. Namaste and its common variants ‘namaskar,’ ‘namaskaara’ or ‘namaskaram’, is one of the various forms of formal traditional greeting mentioned in the Vedas. This is normally understood as prostration but it actually refers to paying homage or showing respect to one another, as is the practice today, when we greet each other.

Our Namaste Yoga center offers yoga masters of traditional yoga lineage devoted themselves to serving the community through yoga teachings, research, and practice of yoga.

Namaste yoga in Hong Kong taught by highly skilled and experienced yoga teachers who are holding in-depth knowledge in yoga and with years of teaching experiences. Namaste yoga offers hatha yoga as yin yoga, ashtanga yoga, aerial yoga, private yoga, various other styles of yoga to combat the modern day stress and associated ailments through Yoga Therapy.
